Arrive Leh by early morning flight and transfer to hotel. Full day at leisure for rest and acclimatization to the high altitude and rarefied air of Ladakh (Leh is located at 11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). In the late afternoon, visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and Leh Bazaar for orientation. Dinner & overnight at Hotel.Day 02
Full day sightseeing tour of Shey Palace- Sindhu Ghat-Thiksey monastery – Hemis monastery (pack lunch at Hemis) – Stok Palace (museum & royal residence) - back to the hotel.Day 03
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft - highest motorable pass in the world). After descending from the pass, check into the Camp. Later, you can walk around the valley or go on sightseeing tour around Sumoor village including Samstaling Monastery. Overnight at the camp.Day 04
In the morning, drive to Deskit (headquarters of Nubra) for sightseeing of Deskit, Hundar and the Sand Dunes. Here you can go on short Camel Safaris in the Sand Dunes using the double-humped Bactrian Camels (own expenses). Later, drive back to Leh, via Khardongla, reaching in the late afternoon. Rest of the day free to explore the local markets. Overnight at the hotel.Day 05
After breakfast leave for sightseeing tour of Sangam (confluence of the Indus & Zanskar rivers), Magnetic Hill, Patthar Sahib Gurudwara, the 15th century Spituk monastery (also known as Kali-Ka- Mandir), Hall of Fame & return to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon/evening at leisure. Dinner & overnight at HotelDay 06
Early morning (6 AM) leave for Pangong Lake (290 kms round trip) via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft. / 5486 meters). Pangong Lake, located at an altitude of 14,500 ft., is 5-6 kms wide and over 130 kms long. Some two-thirds of the lake lies on the other side of the Indo-China border. Stop at the lakeside for lunch and sightseeing for about 3 hours and then drive back to reach Leh in the late evening (by about 6 PM). Dinner & overnight at Hotel.Day 07
After early breakfast, transfer to the airport for taking the return flight.
