Built in Traditional Style, the Thongskar Khang is the destination in itself. The colorful interior infuses a sense of cosiness and warmth after a day out in the dry and climate of Ladakh often reffered to as the cold mountain desert. The omnipresent Ladakhi style architecture uses timber and stone and colorful painting seen only in the monesteries.
